But now, after 9 years, I am really into the characters as well. I don't know if I will ever get over Warrick's murder. That was just all kinds of wrong, but I know there is no one he would have rather had with him when he died. Poor Grissom. :( This new Langston guy is alright, I LOVE Lawrence Fishburne so if it hadn't been him I doubt I would have given the character a chance. Riley takes some getting used to but she's 100% better that Sophia (ugh). I'm really proud of Boss!Nicky. He's grown so much as a character. Been through a lot so it makes sense. Atta Boy to the writers for that. Kidnapped and buried alive, your best friend killed buy corrupt people in your own department and then your mentor leaves. Nicky's always had it in him though and I'm glad they recognized that. I just hope they don't make him too bitter. I never did like the way they completely killed off Fun!Greggo. Catherine is Catherine and she's not going anywhere so I'm learning to accept. LOL
And GeekLove FTW!!! GODS that was a process, but worth it for the Happily Ever After, I must say. :D
I now live in hope Wendy and Hodges will get their geek on, but it's not the overwhelming obsession Grissom and Sara were. LOL I must admit I don't watch as much as I used to since Grissom left. No more tossing everyone out of the room on Thursday nights and locking the door. But it's still good.
I do like the entire franchise. Miami has gone downhill quite a lot, it's more of a soap opera now. I used to really like H, but they've turned his character into a characature and I think that's sad. However, I still remember the early years and those rock. I mourned when Speed died and I wanna be Calleigh when I grow up. New York has stalled a bit. I haven't watched as much since the whole Danny/Lindsey melodrama started. I really hate Lindsey. ::ugh::
So I will be adding things as I go off and on. I hope you enjoy your stay. I highly recommend visiting the sites in the "Other Junkies" section as well. There aren't a lot of us left, sadly.
